RABsport Begins 2026 Testing Programme
Preparations for the 2026 season are well underway at RABsport Racing, with the team recently kicking off its pre-season testing programme across both endurance and junior development categories.
Over the past weeks the team has been out on circuit running test days with its Citroën C1 endurance cars as part of preparations for the C1 Endurance Series, while also beginning development work with the Ginetta G40 Junior Evo ahead of the Ginetta Junior Championship season.
The early testing programme is focused on evaluating new drivers, refining car setup, and preparing the team operationally for a busy 2026 campaign. Track time at this stage of the year is crucial for both drivers and engineers, allowing the team to build confidence, consistency, and performance before the racing season begins.
For the junior drivers testing the Ginetta machinery, these sessions are particularly valuable. The Ginetta Junior Championship is widely regarded as one of the most competitive entry points into British circuit racing, making early mileage and professional team support essential for young drivers looking to make an impact.
Meanwhile, RABsport’s endurance programme continues to build momentum following strong performances in the C1 endurance racing scene, with testing focused on reliability runs, driver evaluation, and long-run pace.
The team has been working with several promising drivers during the early tests, with driver line-ups and team announcements expected soon as preparations for the 2026 season continue.
Team owner Richard Barnard commented:
“It’s great to be back on track and starting to build towards the 2026 season. These early tests are important for both our endurance programme and our junior driver development. We’ve had some very positive days so far and we’re looking forward to confirming our driver line-ups soon.”
Further updates, including driver announcements and full season plans, will be released in the coming weeks as the team finalises its programmes for 2026.
